In 1932 Sarah Randolph and family, including sons C.L., Sr. and Everett Eugene
moved to Ashland, Oregon. C.L., Sr. took his sons Bill and C.L., Jr. along leaving
daughters LaVerne and Wanda in Muskogee, Oklahoma. C.L., Sr. died in 1938 and his
mother died six days later leaving Bill and C.L., Jr. without proper guardians.
Their mother, Nola arranged transportation for
herself from Muskogee, Oklahoma
to Ashland and back to return the boys to Oklahoma.
